The Selangor Digital Future Action Plan (DxF) 2026–2030 is a strategic roadmap developed to strengthen the efficiency and effectiveness of State Governance. The plan expands the delivery of digital services to the public while establishing a strong foundation for future technologies such as 5G and artificial intelligence (AI).

2 | IoT Enabled Industrial Park (IEIP)
The IoT-Enabled Industrial Park (IEIP) is a strategic initiative to develop smart industrial parks through the adoption of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and integrated digital infrastructure.
The initiative is designed to assess readiness, establish a clear development framework, and accelerate the transition towards future-ready, sustainable industrial ecosystems.
Strengthening Selangor’s position as a leading regional hub for smart and digitally enabled industries.
Evaluating the preparedness of industrial parks to adopt IoT-enabled solutions.
Establishing an official and standardised framework to guide smart industrial park development.
Supporting operational efficiency, competitiveness, and adherence to ESG standards.
3 | Selangor Multicloud (SMC)
The Selangor Multicloud (SMC) is a strategic initiative by the Selangor State Government, developed through strategic collaborations with leading local technology partners and further supported by international cloud service providers to ensure secure, competitive, and comprehensive access to multi-cloud services. Aligned with the National Cloud Policy, SMC strengthens digital innovation, enhances public service delivery efficiency, ensures robust data security, and promotes digital inclusivity at both state and national levels.

4 | Cyberjaya Fiberisation Project
The Cyberjaya Fiberisation Project was implemented to provide sustainable, scalable, and competitive high-speed fibre optic infrastructure to support the digitalisation agenda of the State of Selangor.
Aligns with the aspirations of the Selangor Digitalisation Plan 2026–2030.
Strengthens Cyberjaya’s position as a regional digital and technology hub.
Supports the needs of the digital industry, data centres, technology companies, and cloud service providers.
5 | Selangor Dark Fiber Network (SDFN)
The Selangor Dark Fibre Network (SDFN) is a state-led initiative to develop an 889-kilometre high-capacity digital backbone to support Selangor’s digital transformation agenda.
Modernise public administration and enhance the efficiency of public service delivery through strategic, high capacity connectivity routes across critical locations.
Ensure government data security and data sovereignty remain fully under the control of the Selangor State Government.
Support the implementation of advanced digital technologies, including AI, smart cities, IoT, and real-time data management.
6 | Selangor Smart City
The Selangor Smart City initiative is a comprehensive transformation programme aimed at positioning Selangor as a digitally progressive state, supported by strengthening existing digital infrastructures, adoption of emerging intelligent technologies and secured 5G networks by 2030. The initiative aligns with the national Malaysia Digital 2030 vision.
The project is anchored by the Selangor Integrated & Intelligent Operations Center, which serves as a central coordination and decision-support platform, supported by real-time Digital Twin technology to enable informed, data-led decision-making. The initiative integrates five complementary components, including smart mobility, technology-enabled public safety, flood resilience management, digital governance, and industrial connectivity via secured 5G networks.
